Executive Director's Message

HEED Language Center (HLC) is a self-supported project of HEED Bangladesh. HEED stands for Health, Education and Economic Development activities located in 18 District of Bangladesh, assisting the poor according to priority and need. HEED was founded immediately after the liberation from Pakistan (1971). At that time many overseas workers, missionaries and devastation.Today, HEED is operating in nearly 100 Thanas, with m0ore than 20 areas of development activity and 2500 full time staff. HEED Language Center is one of those activities. The primary purpose of HLC is to help the expatriate to learn the Bengali language and culture in a friendly environment, at minimum cost. Our desire is to create a resource base for all expats, according to their need and demand for Bangla language and culture. A network of contacts and friendship is one of our by-products.
